Since the 2011 census, there have been international adjustments in the criteria for comparing educational systems (ISCED). Because the CBS uses international definitions and criteria, a comparison with previous census years is not possible for the initial results.
Of the respondents, 19.4 percent indicate that they are engaged in some form of day/evening or online education, ranging from 0-year-olds in preschool/daycare to 50+ PhD students.
A total of 1.4 percent indicate that they are taking a course, which can be anything from tour guide training to dance lessons.
